Going with the easymode patch for Classic feels wrong. Mob values feel wrong and it's stupid easy for mages to round elite mobs their level up and AOE them down. Layering feels wrong, LH's Northdale launch was the best vanilla WoW launch experience ever and an emulated server was more stable anyway (So much for re-making Classic from the ground.
